Tiger Shroff just said something the other day in Mumbai Mirror that might have ended up rubbing some people the wrong way.
Tiger, who has been finalised as the lead actor in Dharma Productions' Student Of The Year 2, said that he didn't 'really care about the padding around him'.
This is exactly how it appeared:
"When I work with someone who is my junior, I know exactly what the person is going through. I've never felt the need to work with established actresses even though I have had the opportunity to work with the beautiful and fantastic
Shraddha Kapoor (Baaghi) and
Jacqueline Fernandez (A Flying Jatt)."
Shroff went on to say, "I don't get involved with the casting at all. I don't really care about the padding around me. It's the script and my character that matter."
"I never meant that the heroine is just a prop in the film and I never said anything to that effect either. Ask the heroines whom I have worked with if I ever made them feel like that."
And then Tiger quickly added, "Frankly, I don't want to defend myself ki main achcha bachcha hoon. Whatever happened is unfortunate. I can never demean the heroines.
The quote was picked up, perceived wrongly, and stories made around it. I just said that I am concerned about my part. For others, I might be a padding. Nothing wrong with that."
So, that's that!
