Ananya Panday has had her moments of awkwardness whenever she tried to associate her family to the West. It started when she compared her father, Chunky Panday’s look to the Iron Man, Tony Stark. Then on the reality show, The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives, where her mother, Bhavana Pandey, was headlining the series, she had another such moment.
While she was getting ready with her make up team on the show, she said, “I have grown up around you and papa abusing. When I was young, I thought my name was F**k because you all used to say it so much.” The line felt familiar as it had already been said by Khloe Kardashian on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Recently, during her appearance on Arbaaz Khan’s chat show Pinch, she provided a clarification to it, giving all the credit for the line to Khloe.
And now, today the actress has brought out something new. While Indians across the world are celebrating their brothers and sisters on Raksha Bandhan today, Ananya too took it to Instagram to wish her cousin Ahaan Panday. Using a childhood picture, the actress wished her cousin, “Happy Rakhi Ahaani, Love You." However, the picture also had Hollywood actor Gerard Butler with the cousin duo, and Ananya didn’t miss a chance to wish him too as she added, “And @gerardbutler too I guess."
Is it a new Hollywood-Bollywood brother-sister relationship that Ananya is hinting towards that we don’t know about, or is it the continuation for the ‘Love you’ message for Gerard? The truth lies solely with Ananya only, but the actress seems to be all set to deal with the trolls again.
