Amyra Dastur’s lawyer, Advocate Saveena Bedi Sachar, released an official statement on behalf of her client, on her Twitter handle, reacting to the allegations made by Luviena Lodh. The statement reads, “We refer to the statement in relation to our Client 'Ms. Amyra Dastur' AKA 'Ms. Amy Dastur' with the video recently released by one Ms. Luviena Lodh. Accordingly on instructions and on behalf of our client, it is clarified that the said video contains false statements relating to our client and that our client is convinced that the same is published with an aim to defame and cause harm, injury and damage to the reputation of our client.”
The statement continued, “Our client completely refutes all such statements referring to her in the said video as being completely false, unfounded and malicious and further reserves her right to seek all remedies available to her in law and equity. Our client also states that it is very unfortunate when individuals resort to such unfounded attacks and condemns the same.” In the statement, Amyra Dastur’s lawyer said that the actress refuted all claims referring to her, made in the video and called them ‘completely false, unfounded and malicious’.

For the unversed, Luviena Lodh released a video on Friday, and claimed that her ex-husband Sabharwal supplied drugs to actors like Amyra Dastur and Sapna Pabbi. She said, “I have filed for a divorce on getting to know that he (Sumit Sabharwal) supplies drugs to actors like Amyra Dastur and Sapna Pabbi etc.” She also added that Bhatt, who was well aware of what’s happening, has been harassing her family and her ever since. Meanwhile, after Luviena released the video, Vishesh Films’ legal counsel also issued an official statement on behalf of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt refuting all allegations and stated that the Sadak 2 director will take the necessary action. Apart from all this, Drive actress Sapna Pabbi, whom Lodh claimed that Sabharwal supplied drugs to was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection to the drug probe in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.
