Wedding bells are ringing for Amy Jackson. After announcing her engagement to long-time beau George Panayiotou on January 1, the couple will be getting married in 2020, according to reports. They will be tying the knot in Greece in early 2020. The preparations for the destination wedding have begun already. The couple has been scouting for villas near Mykonos island in Greece.
A source close to the actress said, “After considering several locations, they decided on Greece because she wanted a beach-side venue for her special day. They are looking at villas near Mykonos Island and will tie the knot as per Christian rituals. Amy fell in love with the beautiful locale when she visited it last year with her husband-to-be.” A few close family members and friends will be attending the wedding.
Apparently, Amy plans to settle down in the UK post marriage. Currently, it’s unsure if she will be hosting a reception for her friends in Bollywood and the Southern film industry.
For those who don’t know, George Panayiotou is a multi-millionaire ‘playboy’ who heads the development and acquisition of The Ability Group. His father Andreas who is the founder of The Ability Group is the owner of luxury hotels such as Hilton, Park Plaza, Double Tree and so on.
Amy’s last screen outing was Shankar’s 2.0 starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in main roles.
