After a royal wedding ceremony on February 9, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Rukmini Sahay hosted the who’s who of Bollywood at JW Marriot, Juhu tonight.

The décor of Neil and Rukmini’s reception is European themed, highlighted by white and pink carnations.
A bevy of celebrities thronged the plush hotel and the first to arrive was Amitabh Bachchan with wife Jaya followed by Kabir Bedi, who was accompanied by Parveen Dusanj. We also spotted Jackie Shroff, Bharat Shah, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Anuradha Paudwal, Sooraj Barjatya among the early birds.
Neil and Rukmini looked resplendent in their emerald green outfits by designer Manav Gangwani. Neil was seen wearing an embroidered emerald green bandhgala with Jodhpuri white trousers. His wife, Rukmini, on the other hand, was a vision in a heavily embroidered emerald green lehenga.
The newlyweds, along with Nitin Mukesh, posed for the shutterbugs before making their way inside to welcome the guests.
Other celebs who joined the celebrations included Randhir Kapoor with Krishna Raj, Bipasha Basu with husband karan Singh Grover, katrina kaif, Rekha, Asrani, Anup Jalota, Neetu Chandra, Honey Irani, Kanika Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani with wife Nin Dusanj, Pooja Hegde, Madhur Bhandarkar, Abbas Mustan, Sanjay Khan, Zayed Khan along with wife Malaika, Mugdha Godse, Dino Morea, Evelyn Sharma, Shriya Saran, Anushka and Akansha Ranjan among others.
Neil and Rukmini’s big fat Bollywood wedding was solemnised under the magical skyline of Udaipur. The event was a grand affair with 500 guests in attendance.
While the bride glowed in a bright red lehenga, the groom looked dapper in a maroon and beige ensemble.
Talking about the pre-wedding celebrations, the sangeet ceremony saw veteran actor Rishi Kapoor and late filmmaker Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela Chopra enthral the guests at the function as they sang romantic tracks for the couple. While Rishi crooned his famous Bobby track- Main Shayar Toh Nahi, Pamela sang the DDLJ title track- Tujhe Dekha Toh Yeh Jaana Sanam.
The mehendi ceremony decor was a beautiful set-up under the Udaipur sky and Neil-Rukmini could not stop smiling. Fire dancers were invited at the Rajasthani theme mehendi ceremony.
Neil got engaged to Mumbai girl, Rukmini Sahay in October last year. Rukmini belongs to the aviation industry and both the families know each other very well.
