There must be a joyous atmosphere in the Bachchan family as megastar Amitabh Bachchan is finally back home after his COVID-19 treatment just a day before the festival of Rakshabandhan. As the country celebrates this festival defining the bond between a brother and sister, he wished his followers a happy rakshabandhan and shared a picture of his children and grandchildren on his Twitter account. In the picture one can see his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and his grandchildren Agastya Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan.
Besides this also mentioned in his blog of celebrating this festival virtually this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, he wrote, “And tomorrow when the little one shall in virtual distance and world as would Abhishek and Shweta due the pandemic , colour the wrist of Agastya in that string of eternal strength, then shall the festival in all its glory be celebrated .. all be it in keeping with the norms set by the authorities re., CoviD !”
He also tweeted, how this day marks the promise of protection and security of a sister from her brother. A pledge to take care of her, stand by her during the lows of her life and safeguard her against all the odds, further reads his Tweet. Big B tweeted, “Happy Raksha Bandhan .. tomorrow be the festival of protection & security for the sister by the brother .. a pledge to be by her side, to hold her hand in times of trouble , to safeguard her from all evil to let her know that no matter what he shall ever be by her side.”
Missing from the pictures was Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda.
