"Taapsee Pannu, who has worked with me before, is a most accomplished artist, and it has been a joy to be working with her again. The writing, the screenplay and the camerawork need special mention - they are responsible in giving this film its immense value," Big B said. Apart from Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu, Badla also stars Amrita Singh, Tony Luke, Manav Kaul, and Tanveer Ghani and the story revolves around a lawyer and a businesswoman who claims that she has been wrongfully framed for murder.

In other news, Amitabh Bachchan had delivered a 14-minute take for the film Chehre in just one shot, thereby left the entire crew of the film in awe of his talent. The film's producer Anand Pandit lauded Big B for the same and in a statement, Pandit said, "I believe I am blessed to be a part of a film that has this historic scene. Giving a fourteen-minute shot is not only difficult but requires dedication of a different kind. And add to it the way Amitji delivered it with finesse. There was pin-drop silence on the sets followed by thunderous applause. He is legendary and an inspiration for each one of us".
