Only yesterday, the remarks made by the representative of the National Commission for Women (NCw), who had visited the kin of victim of the Badaun gangrape case, brewed a storm across the internet. The women in question claimed how the incident could have been avoided if the survivor had not ventured out in the evening. This brought her at the receiving end of criticism from a lot of netizens, including celebrities. Now, Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda has condemned the same through her Instagram account.

Sharing the news on her Instagram stories, Navya expressed her disappointment by asking if things will ever change. She wrote, "WTF... when are things ever going to change!!!!" For the unaware, NCW representative Chandramukhi, during her media interaction said, "Even if she is under pressure from someone, a woman should keep track of time and should not venture out late. I wonder if the victim had not gone out alone in the evening, or gone with a family member, she could have been saved."

Pooja Bhatt, too, had slammed the NCW member and shared her concern to its Chairperson Rekha Sharma by tweeting, "Respected @NCWIndia @sharmarekha Do you stand by this statement by your representative in context to the Badaun rape case. Kindly clarify if you agree with your representative that the victim was at fault for stepping out to visit a temple unaccompanied and at the time she did."  (ALSO READ - Pooja Bhatt QUESTIONS An NCW Representative's Remark On Badaun Rape Case; Expresses Concern To Chairman Rekha Sharma)
