It was on Saturday that Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan took to their social media to inform fans that they tested positive for Coronavirus, and reassured fans that the authorities have been informed and their staff and family members were being tested. The next day, reports of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya testing positive for COVID-19 also surfaced. While Big B and Abhishek Bachchan were admitted to Nanavati Hospital, Aishwarya and Aaradhya are under home-quarantine. Now, latest reports state that 26 members of Amitabh Bachchan’s staff got tested, and their reports came back negative.
According to Zee News, at least 54 people were said to have come in contact with Amitabh Bachchan, out of which 28 were quarantined. 26 of Big B’s staff members in Jalsa were said to be at high risk, and their swab tests were done on Sunday. Their reports came back this morning, and were all found to be negative. The 26 staff members have been quarantined for the next two weeks. Meanwhile, all four of the Bachchans’ bungalows Jalsa, Pratiksha, Janak, and Vatsa, have reportedly been sealed by the BMC and have also been declared as containment zones.
Abhishek Bachchan is keeping fans updated about his health, as well as the rest of his family’s. Yesterday, he tweeted, “Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful.The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers.”
After reports of Abhishek Bachchan leaving the hospital surfaced, Abhishek himself clarified and tweeted, “My father and I remain in hospital till the doctors decide otherwise. Everyone please remain cautious and safe.
