Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Nanavati Hospital on July 11 as he tested positive for Coronavirus. After spending almost two weeks in the hospital, the megastar got discharged and united with his family. Though his son Abhishek Bachchan remains in the hospital as he is yet to test negative for Coronavirus. During the course of his recuperation in the hospital, Amitabh Bachchan penned quite a few blogs and tweets talking about how grateful he is for all the love his fans shower on him. His latest tweet too is dedicated to prayers and good wishes.

This morning, Amitabh Bachchan penned that one must collect good wishes and prayers as none of the materialistic things are of any use when you die. He wrote, "दुआएं जमा करते रहिए.... सुना है जायदाद, शौहरत ऐवं घमंड साथ नहीं जाते...।" When translated, it means, only good wishes travel with you all the way to heaven; money, greed and pride stay back in the mortal world. He shared the same post on Instagram but attached a picture showing Rakhis tied on his wrist.

Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan, as he returned home from the hospital wrote a blog talking about how his family is near to him, yet so far. Calling home a 'prison cell', Big B had penned, "And in the solitude of your own home.. no contact .. a prison cell where the visiting hours, often seen in films, occurs through glass shields and telephoned conversation .. to see and connect in hand actions .. they be family, just a few inches away, yet so far.."
