Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is a diehard cricket fan and has been closely observing the ongoing ICC World Cup 2019 tournament. Unfortunately, this time, rains have played spoilsport and as many as 3 matches have been washed out by rain which includes yesterday night’s India vs New Zealand match.

Frustrated Indian fans made their displeasure evident on social media and most of them blamed the ICC for lack of reserve days. Last night, an angry Twitter fan wrote, "Shame on #ICC for organizing such an important tournament at such a time when half the matches are getting washed away! Get a life folks, and concentrate on the right timing of the tournament rather than on the right "glove" of #Dhoni!!! #WorldCup2019".

Next, we saw Amitabh Bachchan commenting on his tweet in a fun manner as he wrote, “shift the tournament WC 2019 to India .. we need the rain .. !!!”

So far, India has played 3 matches and has emerged victorious in the first two against South Africa and Australia respectively. The third match that happened last night was a washout so it was declared a tie. The next match will happen on June 16 and India will battle it out with Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan’s Twitter account was hacked recently and the profile picture was changed to that of Pak PM Imran Khan. In a day’s time, the account was revived properly. On the work front, the actor was last seen in Badla opposite Taapsee Pannu. Next, he will be seen in Nagraj Manjule’s Jhund followed by Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. Then, he also has a pivotal part in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra. Recently, the actor cleared the load of over 2000 farmers in Bihar and even donated to the families of Pulwama soldiers.
