Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, on July 11. Both Big B and Abhishek Bachchan took to their respective social media handles to inform and share the news, updating about their health status. In the announcement, Amitabh Bachchan mentioned that the officials were informed and that he had been shifted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital. Now, after Big B and Abhishek Bachchan were shifted to the hospital, as per latest reports, the actor’s residence, Jalsa, has got sanitized by the BMC officials.
IndiaTV reported that the BMC officials have started sanitizing Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow Jalsa. In a live telecast from outside Amitabh Bachchan’s residence, the reporter mentioned that a team of 26 BMC workers and officials have arrived. The BMC officials have arrived with machines to sanitize the vicinity of the actor’s residence and also mentioned that many have been spotted in protective gears.
The BMC officials sanitizing Abhishek Bachchan’s residence are dressed in a PPE kit for their safety. The BMC officials and cleaning staff are waiting outside AmitabhBachhan's bungalow Jalsa for disinfection. The BMC officials will also sanitize the other 2 bungalows, Pratiksha and Janak.
Speaking of Amitabh Bachchan’s family, Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan tested negative, whereas Abhishek Bachchan’s daughter Aaradhya Bachchan’s tests results are yet to come. As per reports, the staff has also been tested.
