Superstar and veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. The father-son duo was admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital subsequently. It was the Gulabo Sitabo actor who shared the news about his health on Twitter first and mentioned that he is shifted to the hospital and officials have been informed. Later, Abhishek took to his Twitter handle to inform fans. According to the latest reports, Big B and Abhishek’s health condition is now stable. Reports state that Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek are comfortable and feeling better.

ETimes, talking to news agency PTI, Dr Abdul Samad Ansari, the director of the Critical Care Unit at the hospital said in his statement that Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are comfortable and feeling better. He said, “Both Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek are comfortable and feeling better. General blood chemistries are acceptable with stable vitals. Both slept well and had their breakfasts. They are stable.” The doctor shared that both Big B and Abhishek’s blood chemistries are acceptable with stable vitals. He also mentioned that the father-son duo slept well and had their breakfast in the morning as well.
Moving on, earlier this morning, it was reported that BMC officials started sanitizing Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow Jalsa, along with the other 2 bungalows, Pratiksha and Janak. The veteran actor’s residence ‘Jalsa’ is also declared as a containment zone and the security outside his home and Nanavati hospital is amped up, as per reports.
