Sushant Singh Rajput died at his apartment in Mumbai on June 14, and his sudden and untimely death sent shockwaves across the nation. While it was a massive loss for millions of fans of Sushant, people who knew him personally and have worked with him were deeply affected by his death. Amit Sadh, who debuted in Bollywood with Sushant in the film Kai Po Che! has talked about Sushant’s death, and also mentioned an incident that brought back memories of Sushant.

While speaking to Filmfare, Amit Sadh mentioned that during a recent flight from Kullu to Mumbai, he received a ticket that had ‘SSR’ written on it. He said, “My recent flight from Kullu to Mumbai, the sequence number on my ticket was ‘SSR’. I just couldn’t get (it) and I realised that only I had to get this.” He then talked about how the film industry has changed and is affected by Sushant’s death.

 He said, “I think the industry has changed post Coronavirus and is also affected by his death. I hope we are affected by it. Because if we are not affected by it, we are not human beings and if we aren’t humans then we shouldn’t be telling stories about humans.”


On June 14, after hearing about the tragic news of Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, Amit Sadh had shared a note on Instagram that read, “I am sorry... I did not come to your rescue... Will regret all my life not reaching out! Right now very sad, but will cherish the time we shared filming Kai Po Che...
