Makers of Bell Bottom recently clarified the news reports stating, Akshay Kumar starter Bell Bottom releasing on the OTT platform giving a miss to a theatrical release owing to the second wave of COVID-19. As reported in Hindustan Times, Huma Qureshi, who is also part of Bell Bottom, has little hope to see the movie release on the big screen when theatres open. Sharing that she feels blessed to be part of this film, she spoke about her experience of shooting the film amidst the pandemic and why she hopes that film should release in theatre.
She said, “I feel very blessed to be part of Bell Bottom.” Adding further Huma said it was one of a kind experience to shoot in a foreign land amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, and credited the team for the efforts they put in and made it happen. “I was very thrilled and pleasantly surprised when the makers called and said they’ll be going and shooting outside India. Hats off to the whole team, who really put this together,” add Huma.
Speaking about the passion that team worked on and not knowing when the theatres will open and so on, she said, “All of went with the jazbaa that the whole world is on shutdown mode, and there are a lot of uncertainties like when will the theatres reopen, when will we get to shoot again and how.”
