Amidst Deepika Padukone's Name Emerging In Alleged Drug-Chat, Co-Star Siddhant Chaturvedi Shares On Set Video From Goa As Shooting Begins

Deepika Padukone is in the news these days for all the wrong reasons. The Narcotics Control Bureau is neck-deep investigating the alleged drug nexus in Bollywood and Deepika's name has emerged during the probe. As reported by Times Now, NCB has accessed chats of Deepika and manager Karishma Prakash allegedly talking about 'hash'. Soon it was reported that the actress will be summoned by the NCB for questioning. Amidst the controversy, the shooting of her upcoming film directed by Shakun Batra has begun in Goa. Co-star Siddhanth Chaturvedi shared a video from the sets.

A few days ago, Deepika and team flew down  to Goa to prepare for the shooting. After three days of being in Goa, the team has finally kick-started shooting. In the video shared by Siddhanth, we can see a few crew members in PPE kits and getting santised. Ananya Panday is also a part of this film.

On the other hand, Deepika Padukone has observed a silence over the matter. The actress who excitedly shared pictures and videos from Goa has not posted anything on social media ever since her name has emerged in the alleged drug case.


Apart from Deepika, names of stars like Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and others have also come to light. These stars are expected to be summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau soon.


The NCB stepped in to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput's death case after a drug angle emerged during ED's investigation with Rhea Chakraborty as the centre of the probe. The investigation has now led to the supposed expose of the A-listers of Bollywood.
