Pahlaj tells SpotboyE.com that the Tribunal has seen the film but thereafter were busy in IFFI and hence did not give their verdict yesterday. "I was expecting the Tribunal to revert, yesterday. Now I might be told either by tonight, or some time tomorrow. It has got only more exasperating, but again- I can do nothing." For those who've come in late, the Bombay High Court had directed Pahlaj to go to the Revising Committee or Tribunal, when he had knocked the doors of the judiciary.
A Still From Rangeela Raja
Pahlaj adds, "I have no release date now in my diary. I will have to wait and see the developments." Rangeela Raja was originally scheduled to release on November 16.
FYI, we reproduce the list of scenes that the Censors' Examining Committee did not want to pass, when they had seen the film- and then the hullabaloo began.
Some of the cuts which the Censor Board has asked for, are listed below:
- Tu Mujhe Aisa Swadisht Khana Khila Chuki Hai
- Mera Dhyaan Pooja Mein Tha (remove the gesture of hand)
- Ghevar Kitna Ras Bhara Hai, Ahista Ahista Kholna
- Talwar Miyan Se Bahar Niklegi Toh Tumhe Lene Ke Dene Pad Jayenge
- Jab Jab Raavan Sita Ka Apaharan Karega, Tab Tak Hanuman Ram Ka Saath Dene Aayega (Cut the mention of Ram)
- Raat Ko Aap Arjun Ki Tarah Teer Nikalke Bahar Jaate Ho
