Last month, soon after Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh released their wedding pictures on social media, a few pictures of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got leaked from the sets of Brahmastra. Millions of memes were created on the same most of which hinted funnily at how Ranbir was looking at his ex-girlfriend Deepika's wedding pictures and sulking, while Alia preferred to ignore them and had a peculiar sad expression her face.
Now, Alia has finally reacted to the pictures and revealed why she was sad. At the Nickelodeon award show, last night, speaking to the media, Alia said, “No! That’s my face, when I rest. It’s my resting face. I wasn’t upset at all. I am very happy and I’m a very happy person but that’s my resting face. Some people call me ‘Naani’ because of that- I am always frowning. But, I wasn’t upset at all.” Well, netizens can now rest the rumours of a fight between Ranbir and Alia.
At the same event, Alia was also asked about her dad Mahesh Bhatt's comment about Ranbir Kapoor where he had said, while talking to The Telegraph, that Ranbir and Alia are in love and that it doesn't take a genius to guess that. The actress tried dodging the question, but after a while of prodding, she replied, “To be honest, I don’t want to talk about it, I am feeling shy. But, I love my father and anything he says obviously means the world to me.”
The lovebirds will be next seen in Karan Johar's Brahmastra. The film is said to be a 3 part magnum opus, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in lead roles. The first installment of Brahmastra is set to hit theatres on Christmas 2019.
