Just a few minutes back, Alia Bhatt and Salman Khan have confirmed on social media that they are the lead pair in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next, Inshallah. This is said to be a remake or a sequel to Salman Khan-Aishwarya Rai- Ajay Devgn’s love story, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. While Salman stays, Alia Bhatt is his new leading lady. Thus, clarifying that it's not Baiju Bawra but Inshallah, the duo is coming together for.
Looks like Sanjay Leela Bhansali has finally made up his find to go ahead with Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam sequel/remake, as the filmmaker was also toying with the idea to make a remake of Meena Kumari’s Baiju Bawra, for which it was reported that Shah Rukh Khan has also been approached along with Salman Khan. With the recent development, it looks like a change of plan has happened and Bhansali has decided to put Baiju Bawra remake on hold and go ahead with Inshallah.

So, a permutation combination between the three is underway.
