News of Alia Bhatt's father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt suffering a heart attack and being rushed to the hospital surfaced online. Nonetheless, Mahesh Bhatt is absolutely doing fine. As soon as the news of Bhatt's health broke, a few social media users alleged that Mahesh Bhatt, whose name has been churned out many times in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case due to Rhea Chakraborty, was pretending to be sick in order to skip the CBI probe. However, the filmmaker's family member dismissed the rumours and told Bombay Times that he is fine and hasn’t been hospitalised.
The portal even carried a source quote which read, “People spreading false information is uncalled for. He is doing fine and hasn’t been rushed anywhere. He is hale and hearty. People need to be careful about what they write. There’s too much viciousness on social media. No one wants to check facts before spreading gossip.”
Meanwhile, on his professional front, Mahesh Bhatt directed Sadak 2 which he considers being close to his heart. Pooja Bhatt even shared her father Mahesh Bhatt's note on Instagram where he talked about how he felt unshackled as they began the last leg of their journey. In his note, he mentioned that he has no reputation to hold on to and has nothing to prove. His note also stated that if the film succeeds, it will be everyone else otherwise it will be only his which he finds the duty and also the privilege of the Director.
Sadak 2 starring Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt will release on August 28 on Disney+ Hotstar VIP. ALSO READ: Mahesh Bhatt Faces Wrath Of Netizens After His WhatsApp Chats With Rhea Chakraborty Calling Him 'My Angel' Are Leaked Online
