With technology having become an indispensable aspect of
our lives today, B-town is making sure they cash in on its utility in terms of
keeping them relevant and in news.
After Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor and Sunny Leone among
others launched their apps, now Alia Bhatt and Disha Patani have taken to the
digital world.
While the former launched her own experiential game -
Alia Bhatt: Star Life, the latter joined the list of celebrities who have their
own app. Co-incidentally the actresses launched themselves on the digital
platform on the same day and the same venue -- St Regis, Lower Parel.
Looking cute as a button in a crop top and trousers, Alia
Bhatt unveiled the game, which lets her fans take a playful peek into her life
by letting you join the actress in an animated world full of Bollywood-style
situations.
“The good part about the game is that it’s about the
other person and I just play the character of a best friend in it. It's a good
medium for budding actors to train themselves,” she explained.
Ever since the news of Alia Bhatt’s game came to the
fore, Internet has been abuzz with speculations that it seems inspired by Kim
Kardashian’s venture, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. Refuting the buzz, Alia said,
“I am not trying to compete with Kim. It's a genre that happens to be first in
the Indian market. I'm not trying to compete but to connect."
Furthermore, Disha Patani too launched her app this
afternoon that lets her fans get an access to her exclusive images and videos.
It also allows them to have chat sessions and listen to her chartbusters.
