Alia Bhatt CONFIRMS Testing Negative For COVID-19; Reveals She Is Back To Work From Today

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt had been working for her upcoming film Gangubai Kathiawadi with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The teaser of the film dropped online a few days ago, on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s birthday, and it received an overwhelming response. On Tuesday, reports about Sanjay Leela Bhansali testing positive for COVID-19 had surfaced on the Internet, after which it was reported that the shooting of the film had been put on hold. Also, Alia Bhatt’s boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor also contracted COVID-19 post which reports of Alia going into quarantine had surfaced.

It was reported that Alia went into quarantine, and also got tested for COVID-19. A report in ETimes had mentioned that her result came back negative, but even so, she has been isolating herself. Now, Alia has confirmed that she tested negative for Coronavirus. She revealed that after isolating herself and after consulting with her doctors, she will be back to work from today. The Highway actress took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “I've been reading all your messages of concern and care. I have tested negative for COVID-19 and after isolating and speaking with my doctors, I am back to work from today.”

She further thanked fans for their good wishes, and asked them to take care and stay safe. “Thank you for all your good wishes! I'm taking care and staying safe. You please do the same. Love to you all #DoGazKiDoori #MaskHaiZaroori.” Check out her Instagram story below:

Meanwhile, a few days ago, Neetu Kapoor had confirmed that Ranbir tested positive for COVID-19. She wrote, “Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well.
