Akshay Kumar taking to his Twitter account has announced that he has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor shared a note stating he has tested positive for the deadly virus today morning. He further assured in his post that he has taken the necessary medical assistance and has isolated himself. The actor has home quarantined and has urged people who came in touch with him to get tested for safety purposes. Also he assured to be back in action very soon.

The actor has just begun shooting for his most ambitious project, Ram Setu and this unfortunate news will be slowing down Khiladi Kumar for a few days. The actor who leads a healthy lifestyle and has always propagated fitness, has only left many shocked with this news. After the lockdown rules were eased the actor has been on his toes, filming for his upcoming ventures. So far he has filmed for Bell Bottom, Atrangi Re and Bachchan Pandey, meanwhile his flick Sooryavanshi is all set for its release.
