During the lockdown currently, actor Akshay Kumar has been doing his best to help the needy in crucial times. We are all aware of how the actor has been trying to spread awareness on some taboo topics in the country through his films and hard work and has also been successful by far, with love and support from fans. Today, on Menstrual Hygiene Day, as Akshay Kumar shared a heartfelt post expressing himself, the actor apologises to PadMan producer and wife Twinkle Khanna in the cutest way possible as he does not tag her and the team.  

As the film PadMan has completed 2 years since it’s theatrical release, on Menstrual Hygiene Day, Akshay Kumar shared a post expressing how glad he is that the team managed to push the envelope on a taboo subject. Taking to his Twitter handle, Akshay Kumar tweeted, “It’s been 2 years to #PadMan and I’m glad we managed to push the envelope a little on this taboo subject. This #MenstrualHygieneDay, I hope we move a step closer towards ending period poverty and breaking taboos surrounding menstruation. @sonamakapoor @radhika_apte.”

While Akshay shared a post on Menstrual Hygiene Day, wife Twinkle Khanna took to the post to react to it. The producer of PadMan expressed her fury over the actor not tagging or mentioning her in the post. Twinkle Khanna re-tweeted Akshay’s tweet and wrote, “Err.... You are definitely not part of my next production! #PadMan.”  As the couple gets into a cute banter on social media over their film Pad Man, Akshay has the sweetest apology for his wife and producer. Apologising to his wife, the actor tweeted, “Please mere pet pe laat mat maro Missed tagging the team. Apologies to my producer, @mrsfunnybones, director #RBalki and the man without whom Padman wouldn’t be made @murugaofficial .”



Meanwhile, in the tweet, Akshay Kumar requested Twinkle to understand the situation as he missed tagging the team and apologised to his producer aka wife, director R Balki and A Muruganantham.
