OMG! The trailer of the much-awaited film of 2019 Housefull 4 is out for the die-hard fans of the franchise within no time flooded the social media platforms with their first reactions. As we watched the trailer Akshay Kumar caught our attention especially for his perfect comic timing as well as for his uncanny resemblance with actor Ranveer Singh. Yes. Akki in the trailer as well as during the launch event turned up in his 1419s look from the film surprising his fans which is similar to Ranveer’s look from Bajirao Mastani.
Akki sported a tonsure achieved by prosthetics and sported heavily embroidered outfit reminding of Ranveer’s look as Bajirao from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic flick. There are 3 major similarities between Akki and Ranveer’s look- first the tonsure, second signature moustache and thirdly the outfit. Seems the makers took a leaf out of Ranveer’s stylebook for inspiration as Housefull 4 is set in between 1419 to 2019. Ranveer who played the Maratha warrior Bajirao I on screen had ruled in 1720 – 1740 period which makes it a justified move by the makers. We wonder what will be Ranveer’s take on it.
With this look of Akki onscreen as well as offscreen we are totally convinced that the Khiladi Kumar of Bollywood can pull off playing a historic ruler on the silver screen in the near future.
Directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson, this multi-starrer featuring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hedge and Kriti Kharbanda is set to release on October 26, 2019. The flick will have a box office clash with Saand Ki Aankh and Made In China.
