In this crucial time of the Coronavirus that has been paralyzing the world for months now, Akshay Kumar is the knight in shining armour or can be called as the hero without a cape. Why are we saying this? Well, it is because once again, Akshay Kumar has extended his help towards the Mumbai Police, who are at the forefront of the fight against the pandemic. Akshay is the brand ambassador of a leading health brand who announced a major breakthrough in early COVID detection through its wrist band with sensors to detect COVID-19 symptoms. And the superstar is donating same 1000 wrist bands to Mumbai Police.

In fact, the Mumbai Police will be the first organisation in the world enabled to remotely track and manage the health of its personnel with the preventive health platform. With the crisis hitting the roof, Akki had also made a generous donation to PM Cares Fund and shared a tweet about it and pledging to donate a whopping amount of Rs 25 crore to Modi’s PM-CARES Fund. While sharing the tweet, Akki also says, ‘we need to do anything and everything it takes.’ And well the actor is doing his bit, things which he can do or is in his hands.

As the cops and doctors are rigorously working out day and night for the patients and for the citizens' safety, he shared a tweet on them while giving them ‘Dil Se Salute.’ His tweet read, “Everyday I hear incidents of the bravery of our frontline workers who are putting fear & exhaustion aside and putting us first. One such hero is our Maharashtra Police, I’m changing my DP to theirs as a mark of respect. Join in, together let’s say #DilSeSalute to them @DGPMaharashtra”
