Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is one of the most popular and well-known actors in Hindi cinema. Ajay, son of late filmmaker Veeru Devgn has featured in over 100 films during his illustrious career as an actor. He is currently gearing up for his next release titled Bhuj: The Pride Of India which also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles. As we celebrated Guru Purnima recently, Ajay made a heartfelt post dedicating it to his Guru, his father Veeru Devgn.

On the occasion of Guru Purnima recently, the actor made an emotional post and remembered his father. He shared an old picture of them together. Ajay saluted his father, his Guru on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. He said he was fortunate to get his life and career lessons from his father. Ajay said that the life and career lessons are a ‘valued gift’ from his father, that he will carry with him, like a badge of honour, always. The actor wrote in his caption: “Saluting my father (Veeru Devgn), my Guru, on this auspicious day. I was fortunate to get my life and career lessons from him. A valued gift that I carry with me like a badge of honour #GuruPurnima (sic)”

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn made the post and expressed his thoughts. Reacting to the post, fans showered Ajay with love. One wrote, “Good advice to young generation." Another said, "He was mentor of you and all." A third fan commented, "Love You Ajay Sir." Last month, on the birth anniversary of his late father, Devgn had tweeted a picture with him. His tweet read: “I miss you everyday. More so today. Happy birthday Papa. Life hasn’t been the same since." Veeru passed away in May 2019 due to cardiac arrest.
