Ajay Devgn is known to deliver blockbusters at the box-office, thus making him one of the highest-paid actors in Bollywood. All set to release his next Bhuj: The Pride Of India on the OTT platform due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he shared he doesn’t believe in box-office numbers. The actor feels those are always created. The actor just stunned everyone with this answer as he was quizzed about his opinions on box-office during the movie promotions.
Without gulping down his words, he said, “What b*llshit! It’s created. It was always created.” Further being quizzed if box office numbers matter to him or if he is affected with it, the actor revealed not being scared of it and has never spoken about it even during his interviews. In a nutshell, box-office numbers have never bothered him. Ajay replied, “Do you think it has mattered to me? I’ve never bothered, I’ve never given interviews (about it), I’ve never spoken about it. I’m not scared about it.”
As the movie is set to premiere on OTT on August 13, when asked if there is a possibility of the movie being re-released in theatres after they are functional, he replied, “Once it's on OTT, it’s too late.”
Being happy with the content that has been out on the OTT platform, he said, “Good talent coming in.”
