Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Will Take Her First International Trip After 2 Years Amidst Pandemic, Will Fly To Paris And Dubai For Work

It is after 2 years Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be leaving for her first international trip amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The former beauty queen will be first flying to Paris on October 3, and then to Dubai on October 5 to fulfil her work commitments. The actress will like always be accompanied by her daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. She will be participating in events for the French personal care brand, endorsed by her for years now. It will also see the actress supporting the Stand Up Against Street Harassment training for women across the world.

As reported in Pinkvilla.com, she will be donning designs by international designers and she will finalise the same on October 2, 2021. The publication informs she will walk on the runway for the fourth edition of  Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris, a show hosted by the Paris Fashion Week. “It’s her first international trip in almost two years. Aishwarya has not travelled abroad since 2019 as she is extremely careful about safety precautions ever since the pandemic began. She is fully vaccinated and able to travel. Both are prestigious events where she will wear outfits by international designers. Tomorrow she will set with the haute couture designers and finalise her outfits,” read the report.

It further adds, “Tonight, she leaves for the French capital to walk for the fourth edition of  Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris, an outdoor runway show hosted by the Paris Fashion Week. It will be broadcast in more than 30 countries worldwide. Along with other global celebrities, like Katherine Langford, Helen Mirren, Liya Kebede, Cindy Bruna, Marie Bochet and others, Aishwarya will also walk in the show.”


After wrapping her work commitment in Paris, the actress will be flying to Dubai for Expo 2020 where she will participate in Stand Up Against Street Harassment program along with the global celebs. “The global implementation of its Stand Up Against Street Harassment program organised by the French will see three live events aimed at educating and training people on what they can do when witnessing or experiencing street harassment, as well as raising awareness on the topic and encouraging people to join the movement. Aishwarya, Aja Naomi King, Aseel Omran and Mona Zaki will hold the largest Stand Up Against Street Harassment trainings ever done since the launch of the program where thousands of women and men are expected to attend the session hosted in the Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre or watch it online. The training program is being introduced for women to stand up against street harassment and enable women to be free to walk without fear,” read the further report. Aishwarya had last flown to Paris in 2019 when walked the red carpet of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Speaking about her movie, Ponniyin Selvan helmed by Mani Ratnam she recently completed shooting for her portions in the movie.


The movie had gone on floors in 2019, but was put on the backburner with the sudden outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. While Aishwarya becomes the first Bollywood actress to be appearing on Burj Khalifa in Dubai, her face is projected on the iconic building by the brand is to invite people especially media and influencers for the event.
