Now, it is being reported that Aishwarya reportedly left Manish Malhotra's Diwali bash early to avoid coming across her ex-boyfriend.
On Sunday evening, the renowned fashion designer hosted a Diwali party, just like every year, which was attended by the who’s who of Bollywood. Aishwarya, who also made the celebration special by attending the get-together, raised a lot of eyebrows. Not only did she attend the event alone, without any of her in-laws or husband, but she also left the bash earlier than anyone else. Netizens were quick to wonder if this was planned so that the ex-couple could avoid coming in front of each other. However, an insider at the party was quick to dismiss the rumours. According to a report by Bollywood Life, the actress had planned to leave the party early because she was attending alone. The entertainment portal quoted the source saying, “Aishwarya was supposed to leave early only from the bash, as she was attending it alone. Lately, the 50-year-old actress has been making the headlines for her supposed dispute with the Bachchan family. Over the past few months, there have been rumours going around that all is not well between her and her in-laws as not only did they miss her 50th birthday celebration but none of them even wished her on social media. Her attending Malhotra’s bash alone has only given wind to the fire.

For the unversed, she tied the knot with Abhishek Bachchan in 2007 in Mumbai in a closed-off ceremony and welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in 2011. In a throwback interview, talking about Aishwarya’s pregnancy, her father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan, praised her for giving birth without painkillers or epidurals.
On the work front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in the pan-Indian film Ponniyin Selvan 2, a sequel to Ponniyin Selvan 1. The Mani Ratnam directorial also stars Trisha Krishnan, Vikram and Karthi among many others.
