On July 11 Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan revealed having tested positive for COVID-19, post which both father and son were admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital. Apart from this, their family members and staff also took the test. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan were also detected to have mild symptoms of this virus and were reported to remain quarantined at home. However, a week later, the mother-daughter too was shifted to the hospital for the treatment. Now good news comes in as Abhishek Bachchan tweets that Aishwarya and Aaradhya have tested negative for the Novel Coronavirus.
Abhishek Bachchan also shared that his wife and daughter have been discharged from the hospital. The actor thanked everyone for their prayers and good wishes in his Tweet. While he mentioned they will be home, he also shared his father and him continuing to stay back in the hospital undergoing the treatment for COVID-19. This Tweet of the actor came as a sigh of relief for the actress’ fans, with the rest of the fans praying for his and his father Big B’s speedy recovery.
He Tweeted, “Thank you all for your continued prayers and good wishes. Indebted forever. Aishwarya and Aaradhya have thankfully tested negative and have been discharged from the hospital. They will now be at home. My father and I remain in hospital under the care of the medical staff.”
