Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy has been garnering good amount of attention from the word ‘go’. Ever since the teaser, trailer and songs have been released, audiences can’t get enough of Ranveer’s street rapper avatar and Alia’s feisty Safeena. The duo has been ensuring that the promotions are bang on, as they go about town, performing and enthralling the viewers.

While, there’s a lot of positivity brimming around the movie, here comes a slight hiccup just days before it hits the big screens. A Bollywood Hungama report states that the CBFC has called for cuts in the movie, and the scene in question has Ranveer and Alia kissing each other. So, 13 seconds from an intimate scene have been removed and it’s sure to leave their fans disheartened.

Furthermore, the report also suggests that certain abusive words have been replaced with mild terms. Also, the mention of a popular whiskey brand in spite of it being one of the partners of the movie has been taken off as well. It’s quite sad that the makers had to make do with these deletions at the last minute.

More on the movie, it has been amassing praises in Berlin and SpotboyE.com exclusively spoke to some trade experts who state that Gully Boy could earn anywhere between Rs 85-100 crore in its first four days. That would be great right?!

There’s certainly a good amount of buzz around the movie and with Ranveer Singh tapping into the audiences’ hearts with his crazy antics on-stage, we certainly expect huge numbers at the ticket windows.
