26-year-old Dev Patel, who shot to limelight with Oscar-winning film, Slumdog Millionaire (2008), will be in the country in January 3rd week (tentatively) to promote his upcoming release, Lion. The positive response to the trailer has already generated enough buzz around the film and now, with the actor himself coming to India for its promotions, the film sure seems to have a golden future in India too.
Being of Indian origin, the actor plans not just to promote his film but also travel to different places across India. The actor had come to India for the shoot of the film, but couldn’t travel around.

Just like Dev, Jackie Chan is also pumped up to set foot in India for the promotions of his next film, Kung Fu Yoga. The film stars many of our B-Townies like Sonu Sood, Disha Patani and Amyra Dastur. It is said that Jackie will be in India around the final weekend of January.
A source close to Amyra informed that it was she who was instrumental in getting Jackie to India for the promotions. We hear, the actress will throw a lavish party when the star is in town.
