Sara Ali Khan’s debut film, Kedarnath, may have hit
troubled waters but the actress is flooded with umpteen offers already! A few
days ago, we told you that Sara is in contention for Rohit Shetty’s Simmba opposite
Ranveer Singh. Now, reports suggest that Sara might star opposite Sunny Deol’s son,
Karan, in Betaab remake.
Interestingly, the original film which released in 1983, marked the debut of
Sara's mother Amrita Singh alongside Sunny Deol. The movie was a funny take on
Shakespeare’s The Taming Of The Shrew. It is said that Prernaa feels extremely
responsible about Sara’s debut. Since Kedarnath is now under dispute Prernaa
has decided to design another launch vehicle for her.
To talk of Simmba, Janhvi Kapoor are in the race to bag a role opposite Ranveer
Singh in Simmba. Earlier
Janhvi had almost been finalised for the Rohit Shetty directorial, but now with
the Kedarnath fracas having hit Sara’s work front, a new window could have
opened for her.
This development comes hot on the heels of Kedarnath being stalled. The
high-handed and haughty Abhishek Kapoor (Gattu) has deferred the release of
Kedarnath. We also told you last afternoon that he will now have to battle it
out in the Bombay High Court. This has obviously opened doors for other
filmmakers to approach Sara for their respective films. Initially it was said
that Sara is contract-bound and wouldn’t be able to sign any other films as
long as Kedarnath doesn’t release. But now, thanks to Abhishek Kapoor’s
unprofessional behaviour, it has opened new gates for Sara Ali Khan. Let’s see
what happens next...
