Not so long ago, Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and since then his fans across the country have been pouring in fast recovery messages and praying for his good health. Even though he is under medical treatment, his better half was not there with him during this crucial time as she was stuck in Dubai due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, she is now standing with him as she has made her return to the country. Just today, some pictures of Maanayata Dutt with her husband have been doing rounds of social media, stating that his wife has come back to Mumbai now.

Earlier, Sanjay Dutt’s wife had shared a statement regarding the Panipat actor's health which read, “I thank everyone who has expressed their well wishes for Sanju’s speedy recovery. We need all the strength and prayers to overcome this phase. There is a lot that the family has gone through in the past years but I am confident, this too shall pass." She further added, “Sanju has always been a fighter, and so has our family. God has yet again chosen to test us to overcome the challenges ahead.”

Meanwhile, reportedly, Sanjay Dutt was seeking permission to leave for either Singapore or the US to start with his treatment but a recent report in Mumbai Mirror claimed that the actor will be commencing his chemotherapy sessions in Mumbai itself. The actor has been spotted visiting Mumbai's Kokilaben and Lilavati hospital.
