Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14 after reportedly hanging himself in his Bandra residence. Since then the fans started expressing their rage on social media and the turmoil simply continued to increase. Right from calling out Bollywood bigwigs to slamming star kids, netizens were brutally trolling them on social media. One of them who also faced a severe backlash from Sushant's fans was his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. She recently shared a screenshot of a user who sent across rape and murder threats after his tragic death. She even asked the Cyber Crime Cell for an intervention.
 
Seeing these harsh words from the people, some celebs from the industry were appalled to see such cruelty and simply urged the officials to look into this matter. Bhumi Pednekar told her to stay strong as she made a comment, "This is horrible...the authorities have to take this seriously..be strong rhea." Saqib Saleem too shared a comment which said, "Stay strong Rhea!! Nobody should be subjected to such harassment." While Kriti Kharbanda wrote, "Disgusted and appalled! @cyber_crime_helpline @shubhamcybercop @cybercrimeindia please take action!" 
 
As her colleagues told her to stay strong in this difficult time, some of her fans are also seen consoling her in the comment section.




While sharing the screenshot, her caption read, "I was called a gold digger ..I kept quiet  I was called a murderer ....I kept quiet  I was slut shamed ....I kept quiet   But how does my silence give you the right to tell me that you will get me RAPED and MURDERED if I don’t commit suicide @mannu_raaut ?  Do you realize the seriousness of what you have said?
