Yours truly is a sucker for whodunits as I told you few days back and if there's one whodunit I would see any  number of times, it's Neeraj Pandey's Special 26. If you didn't like it, we may just end up having a never-ending discussion.

So last I had heard from a couple of sources close to Neeraj that he is making a web series on a dreaded terrorist (If you missed that story, you can read it below this paragraph) which will star Jimmy Shergill.

Now, buzz is, the web series in question will also have Paresh Rawal. The series is being made for Hotstar (if I am not wrong)  and I had also told you that it has been titled Special OPS. At least that's the title they are going with for now.

Does OPS stand as an abbreviation for Operations? Your guess is as good as mine. But the incoming of Rawal has just made it sure that this offering by Pandey will be hi-octane on performance.

When texted, Neeraj O Pandey did not revert.

And Jimmy Shergill has a plum role in it. Of course, his role in Special 26 is unforgettable. He was superb. Ditto for Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher and Divya Dutta. Goes without saying that the captain of the ship, Neeraj Pandey, was an example himself.

Jimmy has already started preparing for his role. A senior actor is likely to be cast soon. Stay on SpotboyE.com for the latest updates on not just Special OPS but all the news on Bollywood and Tellywood as well.

Meanwhile, I must say, Jimmy was again terrific in De De Pyaar De recently. This man can shine even in a 2-minute role.

By the way Jimmy, how about now talking a bit on Special OPS?

As for Pandey, what a nice career he has had till date! In 2000, he moved to Mumbai, where a friend got a grant to produce a documentary, and offered him the project. Soon he started making documentaries and ad films. Thereafter, he formed a production company 'Quarter Inch Productions', along with his colleague Shital Bhatia which specialized in making television programmes, ad films and documentaries. In 2008, Neeraj and Shital formed a production house named Friday Filmworks, And they never looked back. Touch wood.
