After IAF Expresses Displeasure Over Janhvi Kapoor's Gunjan Saxena, Adnan Sami Calls Negative Portrayal Of Airforce Officers 'Nonsense'
Adnan Sami took to Twitter to state that showing the Air force officers in a bad light is injustice. This comes after IAF expressed displeasure over Janhvi Kapoor's film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl
Janhvi Kapoor's recently released film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl has ticked off a few people. Indian Air force reportedly wrote a letter to CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi expressing displeasure over its negative portrayal in the film. While many are hailing Janhvi Kapoor's performance, many are not impressed with how the Indian Air Force has been shown in the film. Now, it is singer Adnan Sami who has expressed his views on the same and made a tweet talking about IAF officers being epitome of 'Ladies Men'.
On Twitter, Adnan Sami wrote that it is gross injustice to show the Air Force discriminating between men and women. He wrote, "I can say with my eyes shut and conviction, that Airforce Officers are the epitome of ‘Ladies Men’ & personification of true gentleman! To project anything else is absolute nonsense & gross injustice. I speak with authority as my dad was once an Airforce ‘Officer & a Gentleman’!" Though he did not point at Janhvi's film, it appeared as if he was calling out the makers of Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.
