Dia Mirza shocked one and all when she announced her separation from husband Sahil Sangha after 5 years of their marriage. On the same day, Judgementall Hai Kya writer Kanika Dhillon too announced her separation from husband and film’s director Prakash Kovelamudi. Soon afterwards, rumours of their love affair between Kanika and Dia’s husband Sahil started making headlines. This morning, Kanika took to social media and put all the speculations to rest. The writer claimed that she has neither Dia nor Sahil ever in her entire life. Later, Dia and now Sahil too cleared the air of her estranged husband’s alleged affair with Kanika.
Now, re-Tweeting to Dia’s tweet, Kanika wrote, “Thank u! @deespeak always admired ur work.. and now admire u more for ur graciousness and what u stand for as a woman and as a person!! Much love and big hug!” and Dia replied and said, “Admire you Kanika! Thank you for your graciousness”

Not only this, Sahil too took to Instagram and posted a clarification note on his alleged love affair with Kanika Dhillion. His post read, “There is absolutely no truth to the story linking us to respected colleagues of our fraternity. It is a distasteful lie. We would appreciate a strong measure of restraint and a basic level of decency before such callous assumptions are made about the personal lives of people. Thank you”
In her series of Tweets, Dia wrote, “This is to clarify and put to rest all kind of speculation that is being bandied about by a certain section of the media regarding my separation with Sahil. It is most unfortunate to see the level of irresponsibility exercised. What is even more unfortunate is that our colleagues names are being tarnished and maligned by this media. As a woman, I will not stand for another woman’s name being used so irresponsibly to perpetuate a lie. There is absolutely no truth to the alleged reports and no third person is the reason for Sahil and I to part ways. We have requested the media to be graceful and allow us this time for some privacy. Really hope they can respect that.”
I am so sorry Kanika that people can be so disgraceful. All my love to you. https://t.co/vg5O6jPAea
