Ever since Deepika Padukone’s alleged WhatApp chat talking about Drugs with manager Karishma Prakash has surfaced online, there has been a lot of news coming out. The actress has been shooting in Goa for her upcoming film produced by Karan Johar. Dippy had kick-started the shoot of Shakun Batra’s directorial that co-stars Gully Boy’s MC Sher aka Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday last week. It was recently, we saw Karan Johar along with mother Hiroo Johar and twin kids Yash and Roohi Johar too at the airport before they dashed off to Goa. Ever since Deepika’s name emerged in the alleged drug chat, the actress chose to remain silent. However, here’s the latest development from the shoot location.

According to a report in Times Now, the shooting of Deepika Padukone’s untitled next was going on till last night. The report states, people present there said the makers packed up the shoot of the film today morning. An eye-witness near the shoot location confirmed to the channel that the makers completed the shoot yesterday at around 7 PM and nobody was seen on the sets today morning. The eye-witness also confirms that the set was set up about 15 days ago and Deepika has been on sets 4-5 times. Her co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi too had posted an on-location video just yesterday. Deepika Padukone’s name emerged after they accessed Rhea’s talent manager Jaya Saha’s WhatsApp chats. In the alleged drug chats, Deepika asked Karishma for maal. She even asked her for ‘hash’ and not ‘weed.’

Meanwhile, Dippy’s manager Karishma sought an exemption from NCB citing ill health. It is being said after questioning Karishma about their alleged drug-chat, Deepika might be summoned by NCB. This afternoon, Jaya Saha and Madhu Mantena were grilled by Narcotics officials.
