Their films are set to clash at the box-office soon but that is not all that is wrong between Ajay Devgn and Karan Johar. Ajay has been assertive about his stand against the presence of Pakistani artistes in Bollywood, which immediately pits him against the Khans and Karan whose Ae Dil Hai Mushkil stars Pakistani actor Fawad Khan.
But in a new interview to a leading daily, Ajay has stated that his stand against Pakistani artistes has got nothing to do with the fact that ADHM will go up against his directorial venture Shivaay on the box-office.
"Pakistani actors have got together to support their nation and here we need to support ours. We hope that the problem gets over soon so that we can start working again.
But right now I think it is very important for everyone of us to stand by our nation and also for the security forces as they are fighting for all of us and for themselves as well.
You can’t behave that everything is fine and normal while they are dying. What will be their morale? If somebody is fighting for you, will you care for that person or will you not?," he said.
And he maintained that his strife with Karan Johar is an old one and has got nothing to do with their profession.
"My issue with Karan is on a different level. It’s got nothing to do with the film. It’s got nothing to do with our professions.I wouldn’t want to talk about it. That’s a different issue altogether," Ajay said.
