In a shocking turn of events, TV actress Malvi Malhotra was attacked with a knife in Mumbai. As per online reports, Malvi was stabbed by a man for turning down his marriage proposal. According to a report in Zee News, the accused named Yogesh Mahipal Singh and Malvi had met a couple of times before the incident. Yogesh had introduced himself as a producer following which he started pressuring the actress to marry him. And when she allegedly rejected his proposal, Yogesh stabbed her thrice.
Now Malvi has sought help from Kangana Ranaut and National Commission for Women chief Rekha Sharma in the stabbing case. Malvi asked for Kangana’s help as she belongs from the same town in HP. IANS quoted Malvia saying, “I would like to request Rekha Sharma ji who is a chairperson of National Commission for Women to look into this matter and support me. I would also like to request Kangana Ranaut ji to support me in this matter because I also belong to Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The kind of incidence which has happened to me in Mumbai, I didn't expected it in my dreams, so I just want their support in my fight against the injustice.”
Acknowledging Malvi’s request, Kangana took to Twitter and wrote, “This is the truth of film industry, this is what happens to small town strugglers who don’t have connections and proper channels, nepotism kids might defend themselves as much they want but how many of them have been stabbed, raped and killed ?”
