Head honcho and successor of Yash Raj Films, Aditya Chopra chooses to stay away from the media glare to a large extent. Be it his big fat parties thrown for a movie's success or intimate gatherings for his close friends from the media circuit, he shies away from the public eye. Just like her husband, actress Rani Mukerji too stays away from the media, until and unless she is promoting a film. She was last seen in the public space, during the release of Hichki. However, the media keeps a close eye on YRF's head honcho with a hope to capture him some day or the other.
News has it that Aditya along with actress-wife Rani Mukerji and daughter Adira have stepped out of his paternal home located in Juhu. A report in Bollywood Hungama suggests that the duo is shifting to their plush new pad. They had even held a house-warming party recently. Their new house is pretty much in the same vicinity making it easier for them to hop to their parental home whenever required. Aditya and his actor-brother Uday Chopra have lived in the same house since their childhood.
Also, the reason to make this move was to set up his home post wedlock with Rani and live life on their terms. Rani and Aditya secretly got married in Italy in the presence of their family and friends in 2014 and were blessed with a baby girl, Adira in the year 2015. Rani shared the first glimpse of Adira when she turned one on the social media platform.
The producer-director took this step much later in his life to be with his mother Pamela Chopra, who is mostly alone due to brother Uday's travelling schedules. Yash Chopra passed away in the year 2012 at the age of 80, after being diagnosed with dengue fever.
Rani's last flick Hichki also released in Russia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Kazakhstan, whereas she will be next seen in Mardaani 2 produced under YRF banner.
