Om Raut’s magnum opus directorial Adipurush has become a meme material for social media as it failed to impress the audience. Made on a big budget of Rs 700 crore, the movie has caused a huge uproar in the country for its wrong depiction of the legendary Ramayana. From the cringe-worthy dialogues, to weird costumes, prosthetics and even the VFX and CGI, netizens as well as many religious groups have been left appalled.
In many parts of the country, their effigies were also burned by the protestors. They demanded a ban on the film within three days. If that is not all, netizens have also taken social media by storm to lash out at the makers for ruining the image of the mythological story. To calm the brewing storm over the dialogues, Manoj had taken to his official Twitter handle on Sunday. Through his tweet he had revealed that the makers of the movie have decided to change the controversial dialogues which have hurt the sentiments of the audience.
