Bollywood lost a gem yesterday after Drishyam director Nishikant Kamat passed away. The filmmaker was 50 and died in Hyderabad’s AIG hospital after he was hospitalized days before his demise. As director Milap Zaveri constantly shared updates regarding the filmmaker’s ill-health, after his demise, he tweeted about Abhishek Bachchan and Kamat’s collaboration for a movie, on his (now-deleted) Twitter handle. Now, Abhishek Bachchan mourns the tragic and untimely demise of his dear friend and speaks of his unfinished plans with Kamat.
On Twitter, Abhishek Bachchan who recently recovered from COVID-19 made a tweet reacting to the news of his dear friend, filmmaker Nishikant Kamat’s untimely demise. Jr Bachchan tweeted, “Rest in peace dear Nishi. Our plans remain unfinished.... my thoughts and prayer to him and his family.”
In his tweet, Abhishek Bachchan mourned the tragic and untimely demise of his dear friend Nishi. The Big Bull actor then went on to speak about his unfinished plans with Nishikant Kamat. He also offered his condolences to the late filmmaker’s family and mentioned that his thoughts and prayers are to him and his family.
Abhishek Bachchan was supposed to work on late filmmaker Nishikant Kamat’s film Sanak. The news of the movie was confirmed by director Milap Zaveri on his (now-deleted) Twitter handle. Zaveri revealed that he was involved in the writing of the film titled Sanak, which was to be directed by Kamat, starring Abhishek Bachchan.
Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in the web series Breathe: Into The Shadows. The actor also has film Big Bull which will release soon, digitally.
