Abhishek Bachchan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Dasvi’ where he plays an illiterate, corrupt, and desi politician Ganga Ram Chaudhary, who is locked in jail and wants to exercise his right to education. Ahead of its trailer release today, the actor penned a lengthy note calling the movie ‘very close’ to his heart. Junior Bachchan also confessed to being ‘shy and borderline apologetic’ about his work. However, the actor said he wants to feel unapologetic about Dasvi.
Taking to his Instagram handle, the Dhoom actor shared a note that read, “I'm so excited to share Dasvi with all of you. It's a film very, very close to my heart. I really believe in this film and what it has to say. To make a film that is entertaining and leaves you with a thought or something to think about gives me such joy. I hope it has a similar effect on you too. I've always been very reticent to speak about my films, border-line apologetic about my work. People call it humility or lack of confidence in what I've made I want to change that. I want to be unapologetic about this film.” ALSO READ: DID YOU KNOW Nimrat Kaur Ate THIS Lip Smacking Indian Snack To Gain 15 Kgs In Abhishek Bachchan’s Dasvi?
