Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan celebrated her 50th birthday yesterday with her mother and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. The trio was spotted attending an event where she was felicitated. The event was held at the GSB Seva Mandal in Sion. Not only was she felicitated but they also gifted her a plaque and a framed photograph filled with all of her old memories. The actress was overwhelmed by the love and admiration that she was showered with. However, what garnered much attention from the netizens was her daughter’s heart-warming speech.
In a video shared by Voompla, Aardhya talks about her mother and hails her for being a thoughtful human being who cares for everyone around her. Dressed in a white top and blue denim, she goes on to add how she has learned from her mother. It is safe to say that the teenager left the netizens in awe of her vocabulary. For the unversed, she tied the knot with Abhishek Bachchan in 2007 in Mumbai in a closed-off ceremony and welcomed their daughter Aaradhya in 2011. In a throwback interview, talking about Aishwarya’s pregnancy, her father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan, praised her for giving birth without painkillers or epidurals.
On the work front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in the pan-Indian film Ponniyin Selvan 2, a sequel to Ponniyin Selvan 1. The Mani Ratnam directorial also stars Trisha Krishnan, Vikram and Karthi among many others.
