Aamir Khan's sudden and inexplicable change of plans has caused a substantial hike in the production cost of his upcoming film, Dangal. As we have been telling you, he has been stationed at Ludhiana, where the movie will be shot, for the past few days. The original plan was to begin the shoot on September 23 and accordingly, the production team had made railway booking for the equipment to be moved. Various arrangements were also made on the location.

But two days ago, the actor suddenly called up the production houses -- the film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is co-produced by Disney Films and Aamir himself -- and asked them to fly in everything. Reason: He wanted to begin the shooting on September 20, which is today. Completely baffled, the team told him all arrangements had been made and it was just a matter of three days, but in vain.

Some hectic rescheduling followed and the equipment was flown in without any delay, because beyond a point, nobody questions Aamir Khan. To put a long story short, unless Mr Perfectionist changes his mind again for reasons known only to him, Dangal's shoot will begin in a few hours from now.
