Bollywood actor and filmmaker Imran Khan was one of the most sought-after celebrities in the Hindi film industry. He quit the field while at the prime of his career due to personal reasons. Over the years, as Bollywood saw a rise in action and biopic movies, the netizens began missing the rom-com era which starred the actor in the lead role. Having made his debut with Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na in 2008, he starred in many iconic romantic comedy movies. Well, if recent reports are to be believed, Khan is all set to make his comeback on the big screens.

Yes, you read that right! A recent report by PeepingMoon mentioned that Imran will be making his comeback with Vir Das’ directorial debut project Happy Patel. Termed as a quirky comedy, the film will be produced by Aamir Khan Productions. For those who don’t know, the actor and the comedian worked together in Delhi Belly, which was also produced by the Taare Zameer Par actor. The report quoted its source adding, “The film is a laugh-riot and is set in a familiar yet uniquely fresh world, reminiscent of Imran's previous works. Well, the report further stated that the 59-year-old actor will most likely make a cameo appearance in Happy Patel. According to the report by Bollywood Life, Aamir will be seen essaying the role of a Don in the film. The report quoted a source stating that he has already started to shoot for the project in Goa and will be wrapping up his cameo portion today itself. Well, fans have been eagerly waiting for Imran to return to the big screens, and witnessing the uncle-nephew duo on-screen again will surely be a treat. Netizens have been waiting for the actor to officially announce his comeback project.
