He may not be the ambassador of ‘Incredible India’ anymore, but buzz is, Aamir Khan will endorse the ‘drought-free Maharashtra' campaign, a key project of the state government. 

Just to refresh your memory, SpotboyE had told you -- as early as June last year -- about the actor being roped in as the face of a water conservation project by the Maharashtra government (Why Did BJPs Pankaja Munde Visit Aamir This Evening?,Jun 10 ). 

The flagship irrigation scheme, Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyan, aims at making 25,000 villages in the state drought-free in five years. 

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is expected to make an announcement in this regard later today.
